About the job

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible throughout all phases of the project from pre-sale engineering to handover of the completed project to the client.

The projects may vary in complexity, time and size, but in any case, it will be your responsibility to deliver the project according to budget, schedule and specification.

As a Project Engineer you must have good communication and technical engineering skills to realize the projects, including communication with the client.

Your responsibilities and tasks

• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant
  stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

• Meet with stakeholders to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
• Coordinate internal resources and third party/suppliers to achieve flawless execution of projects and tasks
• Ensure all projects and tasks are delivered on-time, within scope and budget
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
• Create and maintain project documentation for procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning and hand-over.
• Manage FAT, SAT and commissioning at site
• Use and continually develop leadership skills

• Travel: National and international travel occurs in the job, 25-80 days/year

Experience and education

• Preferably experience from the process industry, preferable starch, food or feed.
• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or process engineering.
• P&ID experience (AutoCad)
• A few years of experience from a similar role, or are you a recent graduate with the right drive and curiosity
